Your boat for the day is a 28’ SeaFox 288 Commander powered by twin 250 HP Yamaha outboard engines.  This boat is rigged for serious off shore fishing while providing exceptional comfort and safety.  This boat has it all: twin Simrad displays with chirp, down scan, and side scan sonars; radar; auto pilot, joy stick control for 360 deg. maneuverability,  GPS trolling anchor for quick and pinpoint anchoring off shore; outriggers; two pressurized livewells; three fish boxes; 19 rod holders; and, 14 cup holders.  The boat is fully licensed with State and Federal Permits allowing reef or migratory pelagic fishing beyond 9 miles offshore.  Both a fast and exceptionally stable vessel, you’ll be impressed with its size and comfort.  The boat has seating capacity for 12 passengers so limiting fishing trips to 4 allows ample space for comfort.  As an additional safety measure, the boat also has an inflatable off-shore life raft and for comfort there is plenty of storage space, an enclosed marine head, and a freshwater sink.

Captain Nick specializes in bottom fishing for Snapper, Grouper, and other delicacies of the Gulf, but he’s always on the lookout for any surprises that the waters hold such as amberjack, barracuda, king mackerel, and cobia. You’ll have access to Penn rods and reels as well as live bait all included in the price. All fish caught will be filleted and bagged.

Bottled water will be provided on all trips. You’re welcome to bring any other food and drinks you’d like and you’ll be able to store them in a designated cooler on board.  Your fishing license and equipment is included in the price so the only things you need to remember to bring are your sunglasses, sunscreen, a cooler for your catch, a camera for your memories and you’re ready to meet Captain Nick on the water!
